Happy Memorial Day: I wished we lived in a world of peace.

On the last Monday of May, American’s celebrate Memorial Day, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

My father served in the U.S. Airforce.  Here is a picture of my buff 💪 sister, my father, and I at the beach in Miami, Fl.

I’m grateful for his service to our country. Additionally, I respect men and women all over the world who serve their country or who have lost their lives during service.

In the perfect world, I would love for there to just be peace. No one is killed to protect his/her country. In fact, I would love it if we didn’t need the military because there would be no reason for war. No lives lost for differences. A mutual respect for human beings regardless of religion, skin color, customs, languages, etc.

The truth is that we don’t live in a perfect world. I accept that. But one can always hope for a more unified future, right? ❤️

  1. Yes. If there’s one thing we can do is to keep on hoping. Because as long as there’s someone keeping the hope for a unified future alive, there’s a possibility for a change.

P.S. “buff” is the right adjective. 😍😍
P.P.S your Dad looks super cool!! 😎

    P.P.P.S. What a cute picture 😀 😀

P.P.P.P.S. What if aliens attack? Won’t the military be necessary?

  3. Yes, I agree that the military plays a vital role in securing peace in the short term, but in the long term I turn to Einstein’s quote: ‘Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding’. Wishing you and your family well 🙂

  4. Please tell your father that I thank him for his service. I have a son and son-in-law in the Navy. I too wish that we could all live in unity. I think the generation of today is more accepting of others…to me that is a step in the right direction.
