IA: Initiate and Creating Your Future Despite Your past

“I’m not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.” Stephen Covey

I love this quote because I agree one hundred percent. What I love about fiction books is that we get to experience the lives of other characters and learn and grow with them. I had the wonderful opportunity of reading IA: Initiate by John Darryl Winston. The official re-release date for the book is 3-7-17.

What I think of IA: Initiate:

It would be wonderful to live in a perfect world, but we all know that it doesn’t exist. Some young adults are being raised in broken homes and turn to the streets for survival. They idolize heroes who often land behind bars. But John Darryl Winston brings a new hero to the streets, Naz, in IA: Initiate. Naz is a thirteen-year-old trying to survive in a foster home and stay away from the harsh streets while protecting his younger sister, Meri. Through Naz, John Darryl Winston sends a positive message to young adults living in rough circumstances that the biggest heroes are the ones who can walk away from adversity and create a better future for themselves.

Check it out if you get a chance. Happy reading!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. Hi Ipuna,

great post.I believe in own choice too.
“Two routes are in front of me,one with flowers, another with thorns.
My feet are bloody,I want to get back on track with flowers.
I’m leaving flower trail, which is soft for my feet,
Let other people walk on flowers, because the thorns are for the brave man”.

The path to destiny is always more difficult road. The choice is ours !
